She was predeceased by: her father John Matthew Sheppard; her husband Elwood MacArthur Dodson, Sr.; and her brothers, Ronnie Lee Sheppard and John Matthew Sheppard, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Elwood MacArthur Dodson, Jr. of Burlington, NC, John Wendell Dodson of Burlington, NC, Kathy Darlene Dodson Paskal of Midlothian, VA and Regina Faith Dodson Furry of Hagerstown, MD; her grandchildren, Andrew Dodson, Alex Dodson, David Paskal, Joshua Paskal, Sarah Paskal, Cornell Banks and Ashley Banks; and her sister Doris Sheppard Harlow. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends.
