He was predeceased by: his sons, Douglas "Butch" King and Jeffery King. He is survived by: his wife Doris Knighton Shular of Orange; his children, Nicole Shular, Travis Shular (Danielle) of Orange and Brad Shular; his grandchildren, Sherri King, Micky King, Brandy Humphries-Betzner, Cory King and Katrina King; and his great grandchildren, Tessa Peregoy, Matthew King, Gracie King, Elizabeth Betzner and Kenlee King. He is also survived by numerous sisters and a brother.
