He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. Carroll Cullen Johnson and Corinne Noell Johnson; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Margaret; his children, Elizabeth Bogard (Hal) of Louisville, KY, Nancy Foster (Eddie) of Memphis, TN, Carroll Johnson, III (Glori) of Memphis, TN and Corinne Frick (Paul) of Harleysville, PA; his stepsons, Stan Gibson of Memphis, TN, Steve Gibson (Mary Ann) of Memphis, TN and Tim Gibson (Christy) of Memphis, TN; and his friend John Paul Jones. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Carroll was a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Tennessee Bar Foundation and the Memphis Lawyers Journal Club.
