She was predeceased by: her parents, Alphonse A. Bober and Aunda Mogel Bober; her husband Julius A. Coppa; and her siblings, Judy Hamilton, Pat and Michael Bober.
She is survived by: her former husband Melvin Ryder of Orange; her children, Theresa Gutterman (Marc) of Norfolk, Nonnie Ryder of Orange, Tracey Ryder of Madison, Tony Ryder (Sharon) of Madison, James Ryder (Janet) of Madison, Dale Ryder (Tammy) of Norfolk, Chris Ryder of Yorktown and Brent Ryder (Melissa) of Madison; her grandchildren, Stephen Ryder, Stephanie Ryder, Justin Ryder, Jameson Ryder, Jon Lilly, Amanda White, Morgan Gutterman, Matthew Gutterman, Michael Ryder, Becca Ryder, Sam Ryder, Angie Baker, Anna Ryder, Gwynn Ryder and Ayden Ryder; her stepsons, Drew Coppa of Gordonsville and Gary Coppa (Robin) of Orange; and her stepgrandchildren, Julius Andrew Coppa III, Taylor Moore and Neil Coppa. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren and multiple nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Preddy Funeral Chapel (250 W Main St, Orange, VA 22960). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
