She was predeceased by: her husband Roland E. Marshall; her parents, John W. Smith and Ruth Killmon Smith; her brother Henry G. "Buck" Smith; her son Sam Muslimani; and her cousin Sylvia Huffman.
She is survived by: her cousins, Frances Mears of Portsmouth, VA and Mary Anne George of Salisbury, MD; and her daughter Nancy Huffman. She is also survived by nieces and nephews; many other cousins and friends.
