He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Milton "Karo" Daffin and Elsie Mae Outten Daffin; and his sister Carolyn "Faye" Hotvedt (Steve). He is survived by: his wife Candace Shirk "Candie" Daffin; his children, Alyssa DeYoung of Onley, Alex Farlow of North Carolina, Marie Maltba of North Carolina, Jessica Stanley of North Carolina and Kathy Shirk of Alabama; his sister Cindy Daffin Mears of Onley; his grandchildren, Vanette, Elizabeth, Kenzie, Cayden, Kate, Kourtney, Skylar, Maddox, Makayla, Carson, Katona and DJ; his niece Stephanie Bradshaw; and his nephew Billy Mears.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Exmore Baptist Church (11624 Occohannock Neck Rd, Exmore, VA 23350). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Fairview Lawn Cemetery (42 Hill St, Onancock, VA 23417).
