She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Isdell and Margaret Marsh; her siblings, Bonnie Young and Robin Marsh; and her great grandchildren, Roreigh Thornton and Joseph Thornton.
She is survived by: her husband J. D. Small; her children, Paula Small of Onley, VA and Trey Small (Jennifer) of Onley; her grandchildren, Paul Thornton, Cole Siegle, Caylee Small and Wyatt Chesser; her great grandchildren, Skylar Thornton and Evelynn Thornton; her sister-in-law Teresa Erdman; and her niece Joyce Henry. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
