It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Clarence Eugene Ripley of Onemo, Virginia, who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Cecil and Olive Blanche Ripley; his wife Linda Stewart Ripley; his son Ronald Eugene Ripley; and his siblings, William Cecil Ripley, Jr., Adelaide R. Foster, Pearl R. Hutchinson, Oliver W. Ripley, Betty Z. White and Diana R. Pierce.
He is survived by: his daughter Valerie R. Bass (John); his grandson John Tyler R. Bass (Bre); and his siblings-in-law, Betty Stewart and John R. Pierce. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and special friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home (160 Main St, Mathews, VA 23109). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bethel Church of Mathews (1459 Gdn Crk Rd, Mathews, VA 23109). A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
