Vera Bruton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Bruton (Onancock, Virginia), born in Mappsville, Virginia, who passed away on February 24, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Pierce Barnes Taylor, Sr. and Emily Ann Colona Taylor; her siblings, Ruth Ann Kellam and Pierce B. Taylor, Jr.; and her sisters-in-law, Ina Taylor and Susan Taylor.
She is survived by: her spouse Dempsey B. Bruton, Jr. of Onancock, VA; her aunt Sarah Parker; her children, Martha E. Landreth (Gerard) of Christchurch and Dempsey B. Bruton III (Susan) of Virginia Beach, VA; her grandsons, Scott Landreth (Yuanyuan "Mia" Zhao) of Wellington, Eric Landreth of Christchurch and William Bruton of Virginia Beach; her great grandchild Isabelle Vera Landreth; and her brother James W. Taylor. She is also survived by five nieces; and two nephews.
