She was predeceased by: her parents, Otha Bailey and Sally Bailey; and her husband Willard Ames. She is survived by: her daughter Janice Hall (Devery); her adoptive daughters, Wanda Morgan and Helen B. Chandler; her grandchildren, Rajett Hall (Trivon), Ryan Hall (Emania) and Richarda Snead (Devonte); her great grandchildren, Janirah, Ijanay Jones, Amiraya of Washington and Ryianna Hall; her sisters, Constance Chandler and Cleo Cartwright; her friend Milton Strand; and her sisters-in-law, Doretha Ashby and Frances of Washington. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
