He was predeceased by: his parent Martin Fjelstad; and his siblings, Dorothy Taylor, Alvin Fjelstad and Edward Fjelstad. He is survived by: his spouse Marti Fjelstad; his parent Selma Fjelstad; his child Robert Fjelstad; his sister Betty Lang; his grandchildren, Severin, Yakara, Sarah, Joseph, Rachel and Joshua; and his brothers-in-law, Richard Roberts, Jeffrey Roberts and David Clark. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
