She was predeceased by: her husband Retired Major Charles U Ayres Jr. of Accomac, VA.; her son Charles Craig Ayres; her sister Gayle Nyren; and her nephews, Clifford Nyren, John Boyce and Stuart Nyren.
She is survived by: her sister Sandra; her half-brothers, Barry, Greg and Sanford Schwinn; her children, Denise Ayres, Doug Ayres (Wanda) and Rebecca Ludden (Eric J.); her grandchildren, Eric W. (Lyndsey), Travis Ludden (Kristen), John Ludden (Hannah), Shane Ludden (Kelly), Amy Kennedy and Kelly Poe; her great grandchildren, Carley Poe, Jayla Turner, Caroline Ludden, Memphis Ludden, Leonidas Ludden, Noelle Ludden, Lucille Ludden, Charlotte Ludden, Taylor Ludden, Easton Ludden and Logan Ludden; her nephew Chuck Nyren; her nieces, Jill Nyren and Teresa Crockett; and her pet Sasha.
