Nell Thomas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nell Thomas (Onancock, Virginia), who passed away on May 19, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry; her grandson Harry Sheaffer; and her sisters, Jerry Lamar and June Brent. She is survived by: her sons-in-law, Jewel, Bill Magee of Blowing Rock, Dorothy Nell Thomas of Onancock, Anita, Joe Leitch of Haines, Christie and Fred Escalona of Folkston; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Magee Bennett (Jason), Caroline Magee Jensen (Eric), Billy Magee (Elizabeth) and Anita Escalona; and her great grandchildren, Austin Sheaffer, Darcy Magee and Walker Magee. She is also survived by daughters write: "Mom's devotion to us through the years was invaluable. She had the talent to go further in her musical career yet sacrificed her dreams to be there for us day to day. She was greatly appreciated, a wonderful mother, and will be missed by all who knew her." Nell is survived by her daughters.
