It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marjorie Taylor Evans (Onancock, Virginia), who passed away on April 6, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hamilton Taylor and Blanche Parker Taylor; her husband Charles "Raymond" Evans; and her siblings, Barbara Davis, Virginia Killmon and Harry Taylor.

She is survived by: her children, Frederick Michell (Sharon) of Charlottesville, VA, Teresa Mongeau of Marretta, GA, David C. Michell of Cashville and Elizabeth M. "Betsy" Wallace (James Jr.) of Belle Haven, VA; her brother Robert "Bob" Taylor of Onancock, VA; her grandchildren, Stacey Warham, Josh Michell, Kimberly Johnson, Kelly Poole and Jenifer W. Ward; and her great grandchildren, Katherine, Nathaniel, Charlotte Austin, Naomi, T. J. Johnson, Gabriel, Adeline Poole, Bryce, Ava and Colten Ward. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Marjorie's memory may be made to Broadway Baptist Church, 15341 Broadway Road, Onancock, VA 23417.
