He was predeceased by: his parents, Thelma N. Chandler and Leland Foston Chandler, Sr.; his wife Ida Jane Duer of Painter, VA; and his son Leland Foston Chandler III. He is survived by: his children, John D. Chandler (Clara) of Melfa and Ruth Chandler Somers (John) of Onancock; his daughter-in-law Teresa Chandler; his grandchildren, Leland Foston Chandler IV (Sharon), Kaylyn (KK), Daniel Chandler, Evan, Seth Dize, Tyler and Taylor Chandler; and his great grandchildren, Graciela and Millie Chandler.
