As Kimberly departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Kimberly may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Kimberly leaves behind.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her significant other Richard "Rich" Ruge; her son Marcus Sculthorpe; her stepson Kurt Ruge; her parents, Effie Maguire and James Birdsall; her siblings, Ken Birdsall, Patricia Brewer and Mark Kulbacky; and her nephew Jon Tempest.

Visitation was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 from 4:30 PM to 6:30 PM at the Williams Parksley Funeral Home (94 Market St, Onancock, VA 23417).
