He was predeceased by: his parents, Othar Lloyd "Otha" Simmons and Audrey Moore DiVincenzo. He is survived by: his wife Joan Mason Simmons; his children, Kenneth Lloyd Simmons, Jr. of Rockville, Patricia Jean Jaeger of Virginia Beach, VA, Vincent David Simmons of California, MD and Cheryl Starr Reynolds (William) of Gaithersburg, MD; his sister Jean Kapp of Oak Lawn, IL; his half-brothers, Stephen DiVincenzo of Illinois and Mark DiVincenzo of Maryland; and his granddaughters, Kelly Harris, Teresa Crouse and Kristy Simmons. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
