She was predeceased by: her parents, Forest Douglas Chandler and Esther Ayres Chandler; her husband Jack W. Smith; and her siblings, Dorothy C. Hall, Mary C. Drummond and Charles D. Chandler.
She is survived by: her children, Wanda L. Doughty of Onancock, VA and Douglas E. Layne (Mimi) of Franktown; her stepchildren, Kimberly Patton (David) of Fort Valley, VA, Jack W. Smith, Jr. (Anna) of Quinby, VA and Amory Musselwhite (Ray) of Fayetteville, NC; her brother Leo P. Chandler; her grandchildren, J. P. Doughty (Jessica), Gina Doughty (Ron Yorko), Chase Byrd (Jared), Bobby, Caleigh Freschi and Justin McKinney (Erin Isdell); her great grandchildren, Charlotte G. Doughty and Olivia H. Yorko; and her stepgrandchildren, Abigail, Isabel Musselwhite, Chauncey and Aubrey Smith.
In light of the ongoing pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required for all who attend the service.
