With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harry Walter Martin (Onancock, Virginia), born in Harborton, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 7, 2024 at the age of 88. He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald "Lynwood" Martin, Jr. and Margaret Webster "Peggy" Martin; his son Harry "Walter" Martin, Jr.; and his brothers, Gerald L. "Gerry" Martin III and Smith K. "Smicky" Martin III.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Wolfe Martin; his children, Penny Martin Fowler (Wayde) and Gerald L. "Gerry" Martin IV of Onancock, VA; his brother Webster S. "Webby" Martin of Harborton; his sisters-in-law, Caren Martin, Sandra Walters (Donnie) and Debbie Etz; his granddaughters, Jennifer Lucas (Jay) and Lindsay Evans (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Palmer, Berkley Lucas, Isabella Bono-Evans, Weston, Allie and Lydia Evans. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
