He was predeceased by: his father Eli Hugh Smith; his son Craig H. Smith; and his brothers, Robert Smith (Marie) and William Smith. He is survived by: his son Glenn E. Smith (Brenda) of Onancock, VA; his grandchildren, Benjamin Smith (Sahra), Emily and Ashley Smith; his great grandchildren, Cutler and Lottie Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Lois Strong and Irene Everett. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
