He is survived by: his wife Linda Sue Truitt; his daughters, Tammy Truitt (Newman Scott) of Onancock and Kelly Truitt Young (Mark Smith) of Onancock; his grandchildren, Grace and Mason Young; his sister-in-law Anesia Smith (J. E.); his niece Sylvia Tarr (Rudy); his nephew Donnie Drewer (Betsy); his great-nephews, Bruce Sterling (Sandy), Steve Sterling (Trish) and Ricky Sterling (Traci); and his close friend Coby.
