It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dot Spurley (Onancock, Virginia), born in Belle Haven, Virginia, who passed away on December 11, 2018, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parent Leonard Fletcher Beasley; her daughter Rita Short; and her siblings, Laura May Beasley and George Beasley. She is survived by: her parent Molly Mapp Beasley; her sons, Mark Chandler (Janet) of Columbus and Basil Chandler (Kelli) of San Antonio, TX; her brother John Beasley; her grandchildren, Michelle Crawford, April Foster, Ashley Conley, Autumn Chandler and Ronnie Williams (Crystal); her great grandchildren, Dillion, Victoria, Haley Kyzar, Evyn Crawford, Lilly, Logan Foster, Avery, Marleigh and Gavin Williams; and her close friends, Ada Linton and Jeanie Milke. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
