Dorothy (Dot) Hencz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorothy (Dot) Hencz of Onancock, Virginia, born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, who passed away on October 12, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Hencz and Olga Hencz; and her brother Wayne Hencz of Duluth, MN.. She is survived by: her sons, Richard and Michael; her sister-in-law Kathy Hencz; her adopteds, Purcell and Michael (Lois); and also, Casey Hencz, Samantha, Erin, Richard (Maryellen), Helene, Caitlin, Richie and Jimmy.
In remembrance of Dot's love of life and joy of laughter, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to The Hermitage Fund of Commonwealth Senior Living, whose generosity enabled Dot to remain at CSL in her final months.
