It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris Carolyn Mobley Roof Knight of Onancock, Virginia, born in Chester, South Carolina, who passed away on October 14, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Dixon Mobley and Jeannette Knox Mobley; her husband John Robert Knight; her children, James C "Bojack" Roof and Wanda Dickey; her siblings, Edward O'Neal Mobley and Betty Marie Hinson; and her granddaughter Phyllis Roof.
She is survived by: her daughter Priscilla Warren of Virginia Beach, VA. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandsons and numerous nieces and nephews and many honorary children.
