It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Delmas William Jester Jr. (Onancock, Virginia), born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on May 31, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmas William Jester, Sr. and Maude Miller Jester; his child Vanette Jester; his brother Maurice Jester (Emily); and his sister-in-law Cynthia Jester.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Daisey Harris; his daughters, Candie Jester Daffin (Bryan) of Onley, VA, Ginger Jester of Salisbury, MD, Heather Jester Smith (Chris) of Salisbury and Heidi Jester Shrieves (Daniel); his stepchildren, Stacey Hart (Rob) of Snow Hill, MD and Daniel Harris (Jennifer) of Blacksburg, VA; his brother Wayne Jester of Memphis, TN; and his grandchildren, Kathy Shirk, Marie Maltba, Alex Farlow, Jessica Shirk, Alyssa DeYoung, Lindy Feeser, Wyatt, Vance Winther, Amber Smith, Jes Smith, Mattie Smith, Sophia Smith, Samuel Shrieves, Luke and Lily Harris. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
