She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruby Elliott and Tom Elliott; her husband S. Royce Evans; her brother Bill; her sister-in-law Doris Elliott; and her great grandchild Steven Payne.
She is survived by: her brother Edward Elliott (Mary Alice); her children, Betty Howell and Damon Evans (Janet); her grandchildren, Maggie Hickman (Bill), Andy Howell (Sandy), Jackie Dickson (Mike) and John Harden (Tamarah); and her great grandchildren, Katie Chisholm (Lee), Drew Howell (Jamie), Josh Howell (Shaina), Samantha Howell, Daniel Hickman, Ashley Macaioni, Adam Shenk (Brittany) and Dylan Oleson (Lauren). She is also survived by eleven great-great grandchildren; and multiple nieces.
