He was predeceased by: his father David King Godwin; and his son David Reynolds Godwin. He is survived by: his mother Anne Byrd Godwin of Onancock; his daughter Elizabeth Godwin Grimminger (Greg) of Dover, DE; his sister Anny Godwin Kellam (John Harris) of Onancock; and his nieces, Parker and Meridith Kellam.
