She was predeceased by: her parent Claude Kitchen Key; and her brothers, Claude Ralph Key and Neal Key. She is survived by: her spouse Leo P. Chandler; her parent Valeria Dancy Key; her children, David Chandler (LeighAnn) of Salisbury, MD and Diane Chandler Farlow (David) of Exmore, VA; her brother Michael Key (Dorothy) of Rutherfordton, NC; and her grandchildren, Andrew Chandler, Emma Chandler and Grace Farlow. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
