He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaiah William Bagwell III and Anne Nelson Bagwell. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Turner Bagwell; his children, Anna Bagwell Burger (Ray Burger) of Onancock and Isaiah William "Thomas" Bagwell V (Alex Bagwell) of Deerfield Beach, Florida; his grandsons, Edward Burger, Cecil Burger and William Bagwell; and his sisters, Linda Bagwell Custis (Henry) and Jean Bagwell Styer (Bruce).
