With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Pruitt of Onancock, Virginia, who passed away on July 19, 2020 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Betty Pruitt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her spouse Freddie Klein Pruitt; her parents, Robert Lee Haynie and Emma Hester Haynie; and her brother Robert "Bobby" Haynie of Tangier. She is survived by: her children, Anthony K. "Tony" Pruitt (Sherrie) of Onancock, F. Klein Pruitt (Tammy) of Onancock and Leigh Ann Chandler (David) of Salisbury, MD; her siblings, Margaretta Pruitt (Richard) and Mark Haynie (Sharon) of Tangier; her sister-in-law Lulabelle Haynie; her grandchildren, Shanna Watson (Bradley), Brandon Pruitt, Kaylie Pruitt, Drew and Emma Chandler; and her great grandchildren, Brad, Lola, William and Waylon Watson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many special friends.
