It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Berlie Custis (Onancock, Virginia), who passed away on December 16, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynwood Oswell Custis and Gertrude Hundley Custis; and his siblings, Gloria Custis Johnson and Johnny Custis. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Bundick "Susie" Custis; his children, William Thomas, Catherine Leigh Custis (Bob) of Richmond, VA, Michael Warren Custis (Pam) of Cashville and Berlie Thomas Custis, Jr. of Texas; his grandchildren, Brandy Custis Childress (Shane) of Accomac, VA, William Thomas "Bill" Custis, Jr. of Covington, KY, Chloe Custis Tatum (Hunter) of Quinby, VA and Chris Gill of Richmond; and his siblings-in-law, Parker Johnson of Hopeton, VA and Olive Custis of Maryland. He is also survived by two great-grandsons; and one great-great grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
