It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Art Matthews (Onancock, Virginia), born in Virginia Beach, Virginia, who passed away on January 17, 2019, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Arthur Martin Matthews, Sr. and Jesse Stanford Matthews; his sons, Craig Matthews (Susan) of Grifton, NC and Brett Matthews (Heather) of Rocky Mount, VA; his grandsons, Owen, Lane and Nate; and his cousins, Bill Thompson (Sandy) and Elizabeth Benka (Danny). He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
