He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Jean Sparks Keene of Patterson, VA; his children, Jennifer Lynn Troyer (Melvin) of Lynchburg, VA, Gregory Allen Keene (Bonita) of Fredericksburg, VA and Michael Blaine Keene (Favour) of Mobile, AL; his sisters, Opal Davis of Patterson, VA and Okie Pettry of Troutman, NC.; and his grandchildren, Corinn Fulton (Sam), Evan Keene, Aaron Keene, Abigail Keene, Lauren Martin, Clayton Troyer and Joe Troyer. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Shortridge Ramey Funeral Home of Oakwood (1020 Big Skeggs Road, Oakwood, VA 24631). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home (1020 Big Skeggs Road, Oakwood, VA 24631).
