With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nora Elfie Ward Stacy (Oakwood, Virginia), who passed away on September 28, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernie Ward and Ocie Potter Ward; her sons-in-law, Doug Childress and Joe Keene; and her grandson Dr. Anthony Keene.
She is survived by: her husband Thurman W. Stacy; her daughters, Linda Chaney (Dickie), Veronica "Vickie" Keene, Rita Matney (Donald), Mona Anderson (Eugene) and Kimberly Ratliff (Tim); and her close friend Inise Mullins. She is also survived by Eight Grandchildren, fourteen Great Grandchildren and one Great-Great Grandchild.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the family requests that masks and social distance protocols be followed.
