She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Cassell and Shirley Cassell (White); and her daughter Kymburleigh McLott. She is survived by: her adoptive daughters, Sue and Loretta Childress; her grandchildren, Skyler, Tyler, Alana, Otis Duncan IV "Obie", Adam, Jonathan and Leigha McClendon; her siblings, Jimmy Cassell (Angie), Paul Cassell (Kathy), Linda Jackson (Tony), Fredia Davis (Tony) and Connie Dixon (David); and her aunts, Ruth (Lee) and Gertie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
