It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Juanita Ward of Oakwood, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on September 15, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy McKinley and Mattie Ruth Jackson Bragg; the father of her children Clyde James Ward; her son Roy "Horse" Ward; her stepson Tommy Ward; her stepgrandson Ricky Ward; her siblings, Bonnie Tjaden Meade, Roy Bragg, Jr., Billy Bragg and Bobby Bragg; her brothers-in-law, Granville Tjaden and Donald Booth; and her brothers, John Bragg (Alma) and J. J. Bragg (Diana).
She is survived by: her children, Ruth Hall (Rick), Kenneth "Fuzzy" Ward and Ralph Ward (Lisa); her sisters, Betty Deel (Russell) and Evelyn Booth; her stepsons, Jim Ward (Rita) and Clyde Ward, Jr. (Irene); her grandchildren, Ashley and Brad Ward; her stepgrandchildren, Lesa, Jamie and Jessica; and her great grandchildren, Sawyer, Cayson, Levi, Piper, Tyger, Adeline of Austin, T. J., Jaxson and Mason.
Due to Covid, Helen requested a graveside service.
