She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Whitten and Martha Jane Armes; her husband William "Bill" Owens; her daughters, Peggy (Joel Boyd, Jr.) and Shirley (Clarence Bartlett); and her siblings, Maggie (Walker Osborne), Victoria (Clovis Cook), Vinnie (Roby Cook), Elizabeth (Bascom Horn), Sallie (Clarence Jackson), Harl (Jane), Elihu (Virgie), Theodore, Georgie Armes (Dye), Caney Bascom Armes and Harve (Torie).
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Joel Boyd III, Elizabeth Yates (Donnie), Theresa Heule (Skip) and Melanie Caples (Arlon); her great grandchildren, Jeremy Boyd, Hollie Stiltner (Coty), Clayton Yates, Maria Riffe (late Robert Riffe) and RJ; her great great grandchildren, Ava Boyd, Palmer Stiltner, Kiley, Winston Riffe and Hazel Ramsey; and also Heather Ramsey.
