He is survived by: his parent Virginia Stiltner Looney; his spouse Phyllis Vandyke Looney; his sons, Jeffery Looney, Diane of Asheboro and Anthony "Pooh" Looney (Connie) of Rowe; his grandchildren, Jarrid Looney, Victoria "Looney" Roberts, Logan Looney, Caleb Looney, Luke Looney and Ava Looney; his siblings, Donald "Duck" Looney of Asheboro and Rhonda Looney of Grundy; and his sisters-in-law, Wilma Holmes, Doris Cowart and Kathy Looney. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
