He was predeceased by: his parents, Cam Keene and Sarah Elizabeth Vandyke Bennett; and his siblings, Sylvia Mae Keen, Izell Mitchell, Edd Vance, Ralph Vance and Troy Lee Keen.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Ann Keene of Raven, VA; his daughters, Mary K. Kennedy of Damascus, VA, Regina Phillips (Anthony) of Swords Creek, VA and Patricia Hicks (Chris) of Clifton Fork, VA; his sisters, Sandra Sisk (Ira) of Clifton Fork, VA and Frances Meadows (Charles) of Jewell Ridge, VA.; his grandchildren, Samantha Meadows, Brittany Hill (Mike), Hannah Grace Kennedy, Joseph Hicks and Kristen Hess; and his great grandchild Rebecca Hill. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
