He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward Keen and Susanna Keen Keen; his sons, Donald and Doug Potter; his grandson Joshua Keen; and his siblings, Amos, Raymond, Andy Keen, Carrie Vandyke and Edith Keen.
He is survived by: his wife Sadie Marie Keen of Oakwood, VA; his children, Dawn Shortridge (Danny) of Grundy, VA, Vickie Alarie (Bob) of Bristol, TN, Tim Keen (Nancy) of Honaker, VA and Eddie Keen (Tammy) of Oakwood, VA; his siblings, Arnold Keen (Sylvia) of Oakwood, VA, Lola Mae White of Delbarton, WV and Inez Vandyke of Bristol, VA.; his grandchildren, Kayla Reynolds, Drew, Becky Potter, Victoria, Cliff Robbins, Danny "DanDan" Shortridge Jr. and Chance Keen; his great grandchildren, Kole Reynolds, Scarlett Dotson, Liam Robbins, William Potter and Benjamin Potter; his daughter-in-law Lynne Binkele; his stepgrandson Jacob Coleman; and his nieces, Vickie Cline, Mary White, Hannah Matney, Emily Stacy, Tiffany Griffey and Nadele Bertus. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 6:00 p. m. Sunday, prior to the funeral service at 7:00 p. m. In observance of COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be observed, and the wearing of masks is required for attendance.
