He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurley Mayes Meadows and Velva Coleman Meadows; his brother Virgil Meadows; and his sisters-in-law, Lucile Meadows and Burnice Meadows.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Sue Shortridge Meadows of Oakwood, VA; his sons, Kenny Meadows (Emily) of Kernersville, NC, Jason Meadows (Tabitha Johnson) of Oakwood, VA, Jeremy Meadows and Justin Meadows of Oakwood, VA; his sisters, Jackie Charles (Wayne) of Honaker, VA and Shelby Jean Deel (Eastes) of Meadowview, VA.; his grandchildren, Lilly Oquinn of Jolo, WV, Bethany Grace Pulley of Grundy, VA, Warren of Oakwood, VA, Chevy of Oakwood, VA, Brently Meadows of Oakwood, VA, Mariella and Abigail Meadows of Kernersville, NC; and his sisters-in-law, Mary Shortridge of Atlanta, GA, Teresa George (Ron) of Atlanta, GA and Billie Jo Stilwell of Culpepper, VA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home after 6:00 p. m. Friday, prior to the funeral service at 7:00 p. m. In observance of COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing will be observed, and the wearing of masks is required for attendance.
