He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Merriman Rinker and Edwin Parks Rinker, Sr.; his daughter Verna Jeannine Rinker; his brothers, Donald Rinker, Edwin Parks Rinker, Jr. and Kenny Rinker; and his grandson Joshua Phillip Rinker.
He is survived by: his children, Karen Roper (Tony), Kay Williamson (Mike), Mary Vorous (Donnie), Rufus Rinker, Jr. (Kathryn), Chuck Rinker (Carolyn) and Shawna Hartsook (Woody). He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren and 22 Great Grandchildren.
