He is survived by: his parent Vijaya Lakshmi Kakarala; his children, Grey Tarak and Ramesh; his wife Donna Kakarala; his daughter Abigail Kakarala; his parent Dr. Chandrasekhara Kakarala; his siblings, Ramani Kakarala and Raghu Kakarala (Dolly); and his nephews, Sai and Avi Kakarala. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
