He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, J. Frank Swart and Mamie May Powell; his wife Sarah Crawford Swart of Oakton, VA; his children, Lucy Swart Beauchamp (late David Beauchamp) of Manassas, VA and Jay Swart (Courtney) of Oakton, VA; his stepchildren, Ralph Jones (Sharron) of Oakton, VA, Constance Murphy of Oakton, VA and Gordon Jones (Robin) of Saluda, VA.; his son Dr. James E. Swart; the mother of his children Pauline Lovejoy Swart; and his brother Asa A. Swart. He was also cherished by 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
