She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Chapman and Winifred Chapman; and her siblings, George Winifred and Marjorie. She is survived by: her spouse Geddis Keith Kerr; her children, Debra Kerr and Keith Kerr (Jill); her grandchildren, Daria Kerr, Hannah Kerr and Liam Kerr; and her sister Gladys (George) of Hagerstown, MD..

She suffered nine years with Alzheimer's disease and died of multiple organ failure.
