We are sad to announce that on May 23, 2020, at the age of 96, Ruthella Eaton Jones of Nottoway, Virginia, born in Proctorville, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Dow and Hattie Tyler Eaton; her siblings, Amelia Adkins, George Eaton, Paul Eaton and Dow Eaton; her former husband Garland Franklin; her sons, Garland F. Jones, Jr. (Wanda) and Mack T. Jones; and her grandson Leslie F. Jones.
She is survived by: her son S. Douglas Jones (June) of Dandridge, TN; her daughter-in-law Sherril Jones of Macon, GA; and her husband Captain Garland F. Jones. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
