She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Arthur Sargent and Ethel Bentley Sargent; her husband Robert Clinton Bond, Sr.; and her brothers, William David Sargent of Robert, E. L, Paul Carol Sargent, Charles Sargent and Jennings Bryan Sargent.
She is survived by: her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Mathieson of Norton and Betty Sue Jessee of Norton; and her sisters-in-law, Charlene Sargent of Norton and Dolores E. Sargent of Richmond. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home (956 Park Ave NW, Norton, VA 24273-1821). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
