It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Eugene Absher (Norton, Virginia), who passed away on January 22, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Absher and Della Greear Absher; and his siblings, Anna Ruth Cowden, Jerry Absher, Ray Absher, Darrell Absher and Danny Absher.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Absher of Norton; his daughter Rebecca Jean Davis of Stafford, VA; his grandchildren, Meagan Kilgore and Sasha Davis; and his siblings, Melvin Absher (Delores) of Norton, VA, Loretta McCullough and Barbara Gilley. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
