He was predeceased by: his mother Opal Shook; and his brother Wayne "Butch" Shook. He is survived by: his wife Sandi Shook; his daughters, Nikki Dean, Nancy Wingate (Adam) and Janet Whittlesey; his grandchildren, Lukus Ball and Lilly Wingate; and his pet Shyla. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Esserville Church (5338 Esserville Rd, Norton, VA 24273).
