She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Hurst and Blonda Craft Hurst; her siblings, Thomas Hurst, Norris Hurst Ebetts and Sandra Whatley Stallard; and her son Gerald Neil Dorton.
She is survived by: her son James Clyde Dorton (Jane); her daughter-in-law Doris Dorton; and her brother-in-law Joe Ebetts. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
